Brass plated steel cord which is made from high carbon steel high-strength strands,is the inside reinforcement structure for radial tire.

With strong coating,nice surface quality,average mechanical property,full stress relieving,the steel cord are widely used in radial tires for automabile and other tires.
Hengxing can produce steel cord for many types of radial tire,including compact cord,high elongation cord,high impact cord and betru cord.

Cord Components

(1) Filament of wire:A metal fibre used as an individual element in a strand or cord Standard flament diameter are 0.15/0.175/0.20/0.22/0.27/0.28/0.30/0.35 and 0.38mm

(2) Strand:A group of filaments combined together to form a unit product for further processing

(3) Cord:A formed structure composed of two or more filaments when used as an end product,or a combination of strands or flaments and strands
